Benefit for Brayden

This weekend I had the honor of meeting the Lewis family.

At just six months, Brayden has gone through more than what most of us will in a lifetime, but through it all, has kept that big, beautiful smile.

If you are in the Omaha area, I encourage you to attend the Benefit for Brayden on November 13th; a spaghetti dinner, raffle and silent auction (see link below) I'm thrilled at the opportunity to participate in this auction and hope to see you there!

summer, sunshine and small-town charm

I had such a fun time taking these! Beautiful locations and even more beautiful families! Here are a few of my personal favorites from recent family sessions..

Alex 2012

One of the first things Alex said to me at his senior session was "I'm not great at taking pictures." I am happy to say that, considering the extremely difficult time I had narrowing down the preview photos, I'm pretty sure I proved him wrong.

During his session, we explored the nitty-gritty urban side of Omaha.. Abandoned train stations, alleyways, old staircases.. he was game for everything! I think there's a certain beauty in these things and he did an awesome job working with the surroundings! Good luck with your senior year, Alex.. I have no doubt you'll go far!

Mark + Wendy - anytime session!

Mark and Wendy recently moved to the US from Holland and contacted me to schedule an anytime session (a great opportunity for fun, romantic pictures without the wedding planning ;) I was more than happy to work with them! They are both so fun-loving and affectionate which made for a great session! We hit up one of my favorite locations and had an absolutely fantastic time.

Fun fact: wedding rings are worn on the right ring finger in Holland!

Kenlee - 6 months

Is she not just a complete DOLL? Mom had an arsenal of adorable outfits and she obliged with happy smiles and picture-perfect poses. Too much fun! :)

Ahem... couldn't resist ;)

Charis + Aaron - engaged!

It all began as a friendship.....

However, long emails, late night phone calls and deep conversations over coffee revealed a spark which would eventually ignite into a beautiful relationship, fueled by love. Love for each other, love for others and most of all, a deep and beautiful love for God.

Charis and Aaron, I couldn't be more honored to document the love that is so evident between you two. SO excited for the big day this April! :)
