VINTAGE LOVE

I recently had the opportunity to head down to Texas and fell head over heels in love with the Big D. Between the warm weather, friendly people and amazing restaurants (seriously.. it was borderline dangerous for me) I wasn't sure I ever wanted to leave ;)

SPEAKING of falling in love, I completely adored Jake and Eydie from the moment I met them. Fun, kind-hearted and complete naturals in front of the camera. Plus, their style? Seriously? Straight out of Pinterest! I loved it!

Already looking forward to my next trip down South, but in the meantime here's a few favorites from their session...

Randi + Rob - engaged!

This was one of those sessions where everything magically fell into place.. While scouting for locations, I was picturing sunshine and sundresses... Theeeen I had a reality check, remembered it was February and braced myself for snow and wind.

However, as luck would have it, we were given absolutely incredible weather... and the gorgeous Randi even showed up in a sundress :)

 I had such a great time working with this beautiful couple and cannot wait until their wedding in September! :)

Charis + Aaron - engaged!

It all began as a friendship.....

However, long emails, late night phone calls and deep conversations over coffee revealed a spark which would eventually ignite into a beautiful relationship, fueled by love. Love for each other, love for others and most of all, a deep and beautiful love for God.

Charis and Aaron, I couldn't be more honored to document the love that is so evident between you two. SO excited for the big day this April! :)

small town beauty.

It never fails; I always find beautiful locations and even more beautiful families in Ireton, Iowa, which is why it will forever remain one of my favorite places to visit with my camera! Here are a few pictures from my recent trip!

 I cannot say enough nice things about these families, from their gorgeous children to their willingness to brave the heat (and occasional bugs ;) Thank you guys so much..  I had a fantastic time working with you all! :)

Amanda and Justin's story begins as friends on the high school football field (cheerleader and quarterback; can I get an "awww!") but where it gets really good is at a poker game her dad invited him to one night. Justin cleaned up well, leaving not only with a handful of cash but a first date secured with the beautiful Amanda for the next day.


They've been inseparable ever since. 


This July, they'll be making it official and I couldn't be more excited to shoot their big day!


These two are proof of how awesome my clients are! They had a list of locations mapped out for the shoot and did an absolutely amazing job selecting them! We explored a more rural side of Omaha, climbing through tall grass, exploring barns and enjoying the soft, beautiful light (helloooo Summer!) 


Thanks for a fun afternoon you guys.. can't wait for July! 

Best part of the day? I had been working up the courage throughout the shoot to suggest laying in the grass (white shirts + grass strains = hesitation) but they actually suggested it to me first, further proving their awesomeness :)
